Digital Tuesday Challenge#47 - 2 In Other Words Cards

Good afternoon. Sorry I haven't been around but as I said in a previous post I have been away to BIL & SIL's for a couple of days. BIL was 80 on Tuesday and I am pleased to say he loved his card that I made him. Hope you have all been well while I have been away.

This card has been made by using the "In Other Words" CDROM from Joanna Sheen. This one as you can see is the version with the plain sentiment box so you can make it for what ever you desire. I have used a silver peel off from my stash to make it a Mother's Day card, the front topper has been put onto foam tape to raise it from the main card.

This card was made using the same CDROM but has the sentiment printed on the front, one bow from my stash has been added. Again the topper section has been put onto foam tape to raise it. This is a super CDROM which has lots of lovely sentiments.
This is my first week of entering Digital Tuesday Challenge so I hope I have fulfilled all the rules. For the rules and to enter click here . The Challenge is "A Card For Mum" this time and could be a Mothers Day/Birthday or just to say I Love You. The sponsor this week is Dustin Pike who is offering 3 of his wonderful digi images.

Thank you for looking once again.

3 Workshop Cards

Morning peeps. Sunny but frosty here today. I hope the snow keeps away from my area as I am going to my brother in laws on Tuesday for two days as it is his 80th birthday. He lives an hour and a half away so I don't want a snowy journey. Also looking forward to going to Stamperama in Stevenage next Sunday. As I said in my last posting I went to a Workshop in Harlow on Wednesday and below is some of the projects we did or started at the workshop.

This one was made using Friendly Plastic which I had never played with before. We did this card plus put some Friendly Plastic on top of a box. Not sure I would go out and buy any but looking at the book on it you can certainly do alot with the product.

This one I started at the workshop but made a right hash of the stamping so I didn't continue but brought the rest of the components home and the idea of what to do and did it at home. I didn't have the right rose or swirl stamps so I had to use what I had. The card has been distressed with Tim Holtz Distress Inks. Then spritzed with Lilac Dawn & Dusky Pink Cosmic Shimmer Mica Pigments mixed with water. My Rose stamp is from Anna Griffin and the Swirls from Creative Expressions. I have then picked out the swirls with Sparkles Diamond.

For this one we made the topper plate at the workshop and I have finished it off at home to make it into a card. We also worked on a tin box. The card is Star Dream from Joanna Sheen. The embossing Folder is "Bird Call" from Cuttlebug. We put the embossing folder through the Cuttlebug and used a metal square to emboss it on. We then used Alcohol Inks by Adirondak to pick out the design. You can't see in the picture very well but I have mounted the design on to green and pale blue Mirri card.

Thank you for looking.

Crafty Ann's Challenge #8

Good morning, a bit misty here today in Colchester after our lovely sunny day yesterday. Had a great day out yesterday in Harlow to a workshop. Three craft clubs got together, two from Harlow and one from Colchester. We did six different projects and used things that you probably wouldn't go out and buy incase you didn't like them. There were a few I would have a try at home now and a few that I am glad I tried them there because I wouldn't have been happy wasting my money as I didn't enjoy them. Anyway down to business!!! It is time for Crafty Ann's 8th Challenge and the subject is Music - Food or Love. You can do a card with all three or just pick one subject it is all up to you. For the rules and how to enter and the prize up for grabs click here As you can see I have picked MUSIC.

This super image is a digi stamp from Sandra Dry Designs and is called "Rock Chix Guitars". I have used yet again my Promarkers as the colouring medium. The music notes are a punch although they do not show up in the photo very well. They have been punched from gold mirri card. The bp's are from The Stack6 by DCWV. I have used Mega Labels Nesties from Spellbinders for the mounts.

Thank you for looking.

Have a good day.

3 Digi Stamp Cards and 1 Decoupage Sheet Card

Afternoon, I actually ventured out this morning in the cold to have coffee with a girlfriend. It wasn't so cold as other days but it was still trying to snow at times. We had a lovely chat and put the world to right. Lol!!!! Blogger has once again turned one of my cards on its side and there is no rhyme or reason. It isn't anything to do with the size of the actual card or the picture size it just decides to do it. Lol!!! So once again you will have neck exercises.

For this cute card I have used a giveaway digi image by Inger Harding Design. It is called "Get Well Soon" The colouring medium used is Promarkers. The bp is from Brenda Walton's 6 x 6 Scrapbook Designer Papers pad by K & Company. I have used Spellbinders Oval Nesties Large to mount.

This cutie is a digi image from Crafty Ann. The colouring medium is again Promarkers. The bp is from The Stack6 Paper Pad from DCWV. I have used a Flora Doodle from Joanna Sheen to finish it off.

For this decoupage card I have used a free bp download from Jak Heath, Crafters Kitchen. The decoupage sheet is House Mouse "Home and Garden" from Joanna Sheen. The ribbon is from my stash.

For this one I have used a digi stamp from Mo Manning called "Out There" Colouring medium is Promarkers. Both the bp's are a free download from Jak Heath, Crafters Kitchen. The ribbon and buttons are from my stash.

Thank You for looking today and your comments are appreciated.

3 More Order Cards

Good afternoon, well it is snowing here again today! Not settling as yet so I hope it stays that way. I hate the snow when you are frightened to go out incase you slide on your b--. I feel sorry for the elderly especially if they have no family to take care of them.

This card is the second choice for my customer to choose from. Very similar to the first I made but I have used a differnet colour and type of card. To be honest I wasn't happy with the first one as I could see the faults! The image once again for this one is from Google. The card is blue Stardream card. The image is mounted and the letters cut from red Stardream card. The image has been put through 3D Card Builder2 to pyramage and printed onto satin photographic paper.
This is the third Choice for the order. The main image & bp image are from Google. The bp image has been put through MCS to make it a tile bp. Both have been printed onto satin photographic paper and mounted onto gold mirri card. The sentiment is gold peel offs. Edges distressed with Tim Holtz Fired Brick Distress Ink.

This one is an order from a neighbour for another neighbour's 90th Birthday. The image & 2 bp's are from Jayne Netley Mayhew's CDROM from Joanna Sheen. They have been mounted onto gold mirri card. Age and sentiment is a gold peel off from my stash.
I have been busy lately with orders, I might have time this afternoon to have a play and do what I want! Have a good afternoon.
